Effective Date: 22 May 2026

1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how Parakletos AI Limited (“Parakletos”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the Vakyya website at vakyya.com and on related Parakletos web properties (the “Website”).
This Cookie Policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal data more generally.

The Vakyya product itself, including the customer portal where Customer Content is uploaded and managed, has its own cookie posture: see Section 6.
2. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, to remember preferences between visits, and to enable site owners to understand how their site is used.
Related technologies include local storage and session storage (data stored in your browser and accessible to scripts on the site), pixels and beacons (small files used to record activity), and server-side logs (records kept by the web server of each request). Where they perform an equivalent function to cookies, the same legal regime under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (“PECR”) applies.
3. Our Approach
Vakyya is a business-to-business service, and the Website is primarily used by procurement, security, legal, and operational decision-makers researching the Service. Our cookie posture reflects that audience.
We have made the following choices on the public Website:
- No third-party advertising or behavioural tracking. We do not use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Firebase Analytics, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, TikTok Pixel, or any equivalent third-party tracking technology.
- No analytics in use today. The Website does not currently operate any analytics product, first-party or third-party. If we introduce analytics in the future it will be a self-hosted, first-party platform operated by Parakletos in the United Kingdom, and it will be set only after you have provided consent through our cookie controls.
- No cross-site tracking. Cookies and identifiers set by the Website are first-party and used solely to support the Website itself.
- Consent for non-essential cookies. No non-essential cookie is set on your device until you have provided consent through our cookie controls.
This posture is part of the Service’s procurement-readability: we do not ask buyers to evaluate a product for confidential internal media on a Website that itself leaks visitor data to advertising networks.
4. Cookies We Use on the Website
4.1 Essential Cookies (Strictly Necessary)
These cookies are required for the Website to function and cannot be disabled through our cookie controls. They are exempt from the consent requirement under PECR Regulation 6(4).
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
vakyya_consent | Vakyya (first-party, browser local storage) | Stores your cookie preferences so you are not re-asked on every page | 12 months |
__cf_bm | Cloudflare | Bot management; distinguishes humans from automated traffic | 30 minutes |
cf_clearance | Cloudflare | Confirms a security challenge has been passed (only set if challenged) | Up to 1 year |
Legal basis. Strictly necessary for the provision of the information society service you have requested. No consent is required under PECR. For UK GDPR purposes, processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of operating and securing the Website.
4.2 Analytics Cookies (Optional)
The Website does not currently operate any analytics product, first-party or third-party. No analytics cookie is set on your device by visiting the Website.
If we introduce analytics in the future, it will be a self-hosted, first-party platform operated by Parakletos in the United Kingdom. The corresponding cookies will be added to this table, and will be set only after you have provided consent through the cookie banner or cookie settings. Withdrawing consent will, where technically possible, also delete or expire those cookies.
We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party analytics service on the Website.
4.3 Form-Related Storage (Strictly Necessary)
Where the Website provides contact or enquiry forms, your input may be temporarily held in browser session storage so that a form is not lost on accidental navigation. This data is cleared when the form is submitted or the browser tab is closed.
4.4 What We Do Not Use
We have verified that no third-party marketing, HubSpot, or analytics pixels were found in the inspected codebase; production behaviour should be verified after deployment. We do not use:
- Third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
- Cross-site or cross-device tracking technologies.
- Behavioural profiling or remarketing tags.
- Embedded social media widgets that set tracking cookies (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, YouTube).
- Embedded chat widgets that set third-party cookies.
If we add a new third-party technology in the future, we will update this Cookie Policy and, for any non-essential technology, obtain your consent before it is set.
5. Managing Your Preferences
5.1 Cookie Banner
When you first visit the Website, a cookie banner gives you the option to accept all non-essential cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or open settings to make a granular choice. Essential cookies are set regardless of your choice; non-essential cookies are only set if you explicitly accept.
5.2 Cookie Settings
You can change your preferences at any time by clicking “Cookie Settings” in the footer of any Website page. Updating your preferences takes effect immediately for the current and subsequent visits; cookies set under an earlier preference are not retroactively deleted, but you can clear them through your browser settings.
5.3 Browser Controls
Most browsers allow you to view, restrict, or delete cookies through their settings. The exact path differs by browser:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Cookies and website data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
Blocking all cookies, including strictly necessary cookies, may prevent the Website from functioning correctly.
5.4 Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no industry consensus on how to respond to DNT signals, and we do not currently use DNT as the sole basis for decisions about analytics. Our cookie controls are the authoritative source of your preference.
6. The Vakyya Customer Portal
The customer portal where Customer Content is uploaded, processed, and downloaded is operated as part of the Service, and its cookie use is distinct from the public Website.
Within the customer portal, only strictly necessary cookies are set: authentication session tokens, anti-CSRF tokens, and regional routing identifiers. No analytics, advertising, or behavioural tracking cookies are set in the portal.
A current technical cookie and browser-storage inventory for the portal is provided to Customer organisations in the Documentation at onboarding.
7. Sub-Processors Visible in Cookies
The following sub-processors may set cookies visible to your browser on the Website or in connection with the Service:
| Sub-Processor | Where | Purpose | More Information |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare Inc. (Regional Services, EU) | Website edge | DDoS protection, bot mitigation, TLS termination | Cloudflare Privacy Policy |
| Stripe Payments Europe Limited | Stripe-hosted billing pages only | Card payment processing, fraud prevention | Stripe Privacy Centre |
| Calendly LLC | Booking modal | Scheduling and booking widgets | Calendly Privacy Policy |
Stripe cookies are set only on Stripe-hosted billing pages reached after a Customer initiates a payment flow. Calendly cookies are loaded dynamically and only set if you open the scheduling modal on the Website. Neither is set on the standard public page load.
For the complete list of sub-processors used by the Service (whether or not they set cookies), see the Sub-Processors page.
8. International Transfers
Cookies and equivalent technologies described in this Cookie Policy do not, in themselves, transfer your data outside the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area. Cloudflare is configured to use its Regional Services (EU) feature where available. Fonts and other static assets served on the Website are hosted on the same edge and are not requested from third-party CDNs.
Where you initiate a payment, Stripe may transfer billing data outside the UK or EEA under appropriate safeguards (UK International Data Transfer Addendum and Standard Contractual Clauses), as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use, legal requirements, or our practices. The “Last Updated” date at the top indicates when this Cookie Policy was last revised. Material changes will be brought to your attention through the Website or through a refresh of the cookie banner.
